It's finally happened! In spite of my best efforts, I've graduated yet again. From college this time! At least, I think I have. I've been given an I.O.U., which the university assures me is good for one (1) bachelors of arts in English on or after August 1, 2006. Assuming my mailing address is current.

Right.

Anyway, now I can move on to the "real world" that I've heard so much about!

To top it off, I turn 21 in a couple weeks, so I'll be able to legally buy all those kegs I go through on the weekends. On account of my being such a boozer an' all.

Okay, I don't actually drink.

Drink wimpy alcohol, that is. I've got a taste for the hard stuff.

Down to business!

Schoolwork, while enlightening at times, produces a miasmic mental horror that ladens all productive actions with a malaise that is quite unshakeable. Freed from the obligation to endure schooling, I may now concentrate upon creative endeavors with increased freedom.

And though it's no big change of the past half-year, I officially announce Work on Timeless has been suspended. The Transcendence wing of World of Dreamers has opened and for the foreseeable future my focus will be on that story and world. When more work is done on Timeless, It'll be amply announced, but until then, check out transcendence.worldofdreamers.com.

To wit, Cost of Living. Laboriously (and ironically) produced during my final two semesters at CSU, Chico, this beast of a story earned me credit for the Honors in the Major program, and was developed with the input of Professor Rob Davidson. It picks up the narrative torch from The Barrier City. It represents the foundation of a story greater than itself. That story will be told in this space.

Regular updates of the site will be the norm from here on out. Check back every Friday evening and let me know what you think of the developing texts!

And make sure you give yourself enough time to read through Cost of Living. It's not a short story like the episodes of Timeless -- it's a good 28 pages. Enjoy!
